Renovations are winding down at the Rowell’s Inn and the anticipation is getting the best of us all.  Our children are so ready to be done with this project and as tired as Jared and I both are we are feeling them.  We are hoping that the first floor finishing touches will go quickly once sheetrock is completed in the bar and kitchen {just a few sheets away}.  We have a lot planned for the main floor and we cannot wait to share it with all of you.  With that said please be on the look out for our roll out date; current prediction late October.

It is so hard to see the progress that we have made because we are there everyday and sometimes we walk through the door and say to ourselves “nothing is getting done” but then grammie stops by with her positive vibes and helps us realize we have done so much in such a little amount of time and that is something to be proud of.  Our family is always moving and sometime time gets away from us.  Jared and I both asked one another this morning if we had not taken on this project what would be doing at this very moment in time and we both responded “camping” – with this recognition we also both said “well who knows”.  The what ifs in life are sometimes nice to think about but also come with a lot of other unknowns.  All things happen for a reason.  This project was one we chose and would not go back and choose differently.  We have grown as a family and we have learned that sometimes things just don’t go in our favor but you have to pick yourself up and keep going.

Tomorrow is always a new day.

You must trust and have faith that your path is one designed just for you.
